WW 003: How Speech and Language Affect our Lives – Hannah Scheller and Maggie Haaning

On this Whatever Wednesday episode, we discuss the importance of speech and language to early childhood development, communication, and life overall. On this podcast, we are joined by Hannah Scheller and Maggie Haaning who are both in training to become speech and language pathologist. They are currently first year students in the Saint Louis University M.A. in Communication Sciences Disorders program.

They share with us their experiences working with various patient populations and explain how necessary speech and language is to live a healthy life. Speech and Language is not just about teaching people how to talk and communicate, but it is about empowering patients to live a better life.

If you have more questions about what they do, connect with Hannah and Maggie on social media.
